POSTCARD FROM ITALY

Beauty around every corner.

This chapter belongs to my sister — a journey shaped by wonder, curiosity, and slow wandering. From the view above the clouds to the details found in old Italian halls, each moment felt collected like a postcard.

Italy leaves traces in small ways: in light, in architecture, in the rhythm of the streets, and in memories that stay long after returning home. There is something timeless in the way old cities hold both movement and stillness — grand spaces opening into quiet corners, history meeting everyday life.

What began as a trip became a collection of impressions: warm stone under afternoon light, ceilings carrying centuries of craftsmanship, windows framing distant landscapes, and moments of pause in places once only imagined. It is a story built through observation, where beauty appears not only in landmarks, but in the details often passed by.

Some places are visited; others remain with you. Italy became one of those places.

Some landmarks are remembered for their scale, others for the way people interact with them. At Pisa, even a familiar monument becomes playful — a place where history meets humour, and every visitor leaves with their own version of the same photograph.

A quieter moment among the movement of the city — sitting on worn stone steps, sharing space with pigeons, and noticing the simple rituals that make travel feel personal. Some of the best memories are found in pauses, not plans.

Tucked between historic streets, unexpected details brought a sense of play to the journey. A window filled with colorful rubber ducks became a small reminder that charm in Italy often appears where you least expect it.

Not every landmark is a monument—some arrive in dessert cups.
